As a kitchen helper in a Czech canteen you will assist in the daily operations of a kitchen,
performing tasks such as cutting and chopping ingredients, aiding in basic cooking, maintaining
cleanliness, and ensuring all kitchen equipment is sanitized and stored correctly. The role is
performed in a small canteen, with possibility of overtime.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Preparation Assistance: Help with the basic preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits. Most of the work is cutting and chopping, so the proficiency and speed in this skill is very important.
  • Cooking Support: Assist cooks by performing simpler cooking duties, such as making simple dishes or heating food.
  • Cleaning: Responsible for maintaining kitchen cleanliness, including washing dishes, cleaning kitchen surfaces, and disposing of waste.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are clean and properly stored.
  • Food Safety: Adhere to all food hygiene and safety standards to ensure a clean and safe eating environment for customers.

Requirements

Reference principio Min 3 years of recent experience as kitchen helper.
Reference principio Be willing to work in a small canteen. The place of work is not a luxurious restaurant. Good chopping and cutting skills.
Reference principio Good health
Reference principio Good spoken English.
Reference principio Be willing to work from the night (3 or 4AM) to 12PM
